THE VÍTKOVICE CHATEAU

The chateau was originally built as a palatial home for the director of the Vítkovice ironworks. And now these wonderful surroundings are a popular venue for events. Your event can take place both in the grandly impressive interior and outside in the chateau park (which has a gazebo). The ground floor of the chateau is an ideal venue for events such as concerts; the Empire-style salon has a capacity of 70 people and is equipped with a piano and a speaker’s podium. We can also offer two smaller salons (each with a capacity of max. 12 people). We can arrange catering services on request – banquets and coffee breaks (the chateau includes a spacious kitchen used by the catering company). You can use our reception services and take a guided tour of the chateau. We also offer a cinema room (max. capacity 12) for large-screen projections of your presentations. The chateau has been used for performances as part of the Janáček May music festival, plus various workshops, press conferences and other conference-type events. The chateau rooms are air-conditioned, and car parking is available. In good weather, your events can be held in the chateau gardens.
